Summary

This statement applies to Rocket-X. We wholeheartedly endorse the UK’s Modern Slavery Act 2015.

We are committed to improving our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking and are committed to significantly minimising the risk of this taking place in our supply chains or in any parts of the business. The requirement for transparency across supply chains is a crucially important development in tackling slavery and human trafficking.

Our Purpose & Structure

Rocket-X provides design and build services throughout the UK and Europe from our Grantham, Lincolnshire base.

Our People

Our recruitment and people management processes are designed to ensure that all prospective employees are legally entitled to work in the UK and to safeguard employees from any abuse or coercion.

We are committed to maintaining an honest and ethical culture. Our General Manager, Patsy Ellis, undertakes annual Safeguarding training.

Our Supply Chains

We are committed to ensuring there is transparency in our own business and in our approach to tackling modern slavery throughout our supply chains, consistent with our disclosure obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

The main supply chains of the organisation include those related to the supply and production of materials required to manufacture and build exhibition stands i.e. wood, laminate, print material/media, inks and temporary labour.

Communication & Awareness of This Policy

Training in this policy, the risk our business faces from modern slavery in its supply chains, forms part of the induction process for all individuals who work for us, and updates will be provided using established methods of communication.

Our zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery must be communicated to all suppliers, contractors and business partners at the outset of our business relationship with them and reinforced as appropriate thereafter.
