Alarm.com came to The Security Event to show installers and integrators how their platform protects homes and businesses alike. Instead of describing it, we built them a house to walk into.
We built a CUSTOM island stand around a timber slat house, its pitched roof and chimney traced in open timber slats so the room inside is visible from every angle. Step in and it’s a real smart home, with wallpapered walls, a window with a blind, a door with a smart lock, a chest of drawers and Alarm.com devices fitted just where they’d be at home, all under warm pendant lights. Next door, a brick-walled smart business zone shows the commercial side, with a screen and control panels on the wall. Illuminated hexagon logos glow from the walls, a hexagonal banner carrying Alarm.com and OpenEye hangs overhead, and a poseur table, stools and a coffee counter sit on a concrete-effect floor edged in red light.
